Several horses purchased from stable Maarten Kamphuis competed this weekend in different courses. A mare sold to Sweden, offspring of Regilio X Corland, reached the finals of te Swedish Championship for four year old jumpers.

Moreover, Ausi B (Lupicor x Animo, see reference and picture) finished 7th in the L category of the Ducht Championships in Ermelo driven by Evelien Walkot.

Finally, Wikojak (Kojak x Harcos) managed to qualify for the Word Championships in Lanaken in the categorie for 7 year old jumpers. Wikojak enjoyed extensive training by Herman Koorman and was sold last year by stable Maarten Kamphuis. Nowadays Wikojak achieves good results with its new rider Ibrahim Bisharat of Jordan.

Last week our stable was extended with a beautiful mare foal of the stud Montender (Contender x Burggraaf). She was given birth to by the excellent jumping mare of Utrillo v.d. Heffinck (Clinton x Heartbreaker). It’s a beautiful and well-build mare. Given her bloodline stable Maarten Kamphuis expects great jumping capacities of this mare. This week the first “Bastads Sporthastauktion” took place in Sweden. The organisation of this auction asked stable Maarten Kamphuis to introduce a given number of horses. In the end we offered and sold a total of 6 horses and experienced a very successful auction. There are still a few improvements to make, due to the inexperience in organizing “horse auctions”. It is however a beautiful challenge to organize an even better sale and if it’s up to us, the auction is certainly one worth reoccurring.
